La Tortuga Hotel & Spa - Adults Only Playa del Carmen, Playa del Carmen

The hotel has a great location that's accessible to everything we needed, like the beach and souvenir shops. The rooms were clean, but we faced issues with noise and an unpleasant odor. The service was welcoming, but we experienced a strange situation regarding a payment that was uncomfortable. Overall, it's a decent place but could use some improvements.

This hotel is a little oasis just a short walk from the beach and various attractions. While I appreciated the peaceful ambiance and the lovely balcony view overlooking the pool and gardens, I found the room itself to be basic and not entirely clean. The service was impressive, especially with staff going the extra mile for special occasions, but I can't ignore the water damage smell that lingered in the room.
